Flexible spreadsheet template for setting your care business budget.
This budget template provides you with a tool to work out your care business costs, including how much work you need to do and how much you need to charge to earn a sufficient income. It comes with a blank budget for completion and a worked example.
It is best used in conjunction with the ‘Making your care business pay’ booklet, which gives guidance on how to set and manage your costs. A bundle is available to enable you to purchase both the budget template and the booklet for a reduced price.
This is a template created in Microsoft Excel. Although the results can be printed off it is generally for use on your computer. The idea is that you put in your costs and how you wish to work and the tool will help you to assess the cost per hour, and therefore you can see whether the rate per hour yours charging is appropriate.
Whilst this document may open in other documents, we would only recommend using Excel as other programmes may affect the formulas.
